Liverpool 8 highest album debut for Ringo [Posted by Dave Haber on Monday, 01/28/08 3:56 pm] [Full Blog] [Tweet This]According to Billboard, Ringo Starr's Liverpool 8 album was his highest debuting album on The Billboard 200 in the last 10 years. It entered the list at No. 94. Liverpool 8 is Ringo's 13th solo album to appear on The Billboard 200.
Liverpool 8 is Ringo's first solo album to chart that was on Capitol, except for his six albums on Apple which were released through Capitol in the US. Ringo has also charted albums on Atlantic, Portrait, Boardwalk, Mercury and Koch.
 Coincidentally, Liverpool 8 enters the chart almost exactly 44 years after the debut of Meet the Beatles on the Feb. 1, 1964 Billboard album chart.
