Beatles author to sign books in Ohio

Dave Schwensen, author of "The Beatles In Cleveland," will be signing books this Saturday, Feb. 9th, at the Borders Bookstore in Strongsville Ohio.

This event will include the showing of a rare 15-minute film of the Beatles' 1966 concert at Cleveland Stadium. Plus the first 20 signed books will receive a free audio CD about the "notorious" 1964 & 1966 Cleveland concerts with comments from John Lennon and Paul McCartney about the shows and live Beatles recordings.


The Borders in Strongsville is located at 17200 Royalton Road, it's the large bookstore across the street from the large Southpark Mall. Start time is 1:00 pm. For directions and more information, call Borders at 440-846-1144.

Dave Schwensen will also be featured on Cleveland Television's Channel 19 Action News, WOIO-TV, during the 11:00 p.m. broadcast today. In addition to his interview with reporter Dawn Kendricks about researching and writing the book, the story will include film of The Beatles' 1966 performace at Municipal Stadium and never-before published photos of the group taken during their 1964 and 1966 visits to Cleveland.
