Most Beatles fans know record producer, musician and songwriter Mark Hudson from his work with Ringo, starting with Vertical Man in 1998, and his recent, popular appearances at The Fest For Beatles Fans. Beatles fans might also know that before Ringo, Mark co-wrote and produced 12 songs for Aerosmith.

But many fans might not know that before that, Mark Hudson was part of the Hudson Brothers, a musical group with his brothers Bill Hudson (father of Kate Hudson), and Brett Hudson. From July to August 1974, they starred in The Hudson Brothers Show, a TV variety hour Wednesday nights on CBS. This was followed by a half-hour show, The Hudson Brothers Razzle Dazzle Show, on CBS Saturday mornings, from September 7, 1974 to August 30, 1975.

VSC Video has announced that the complete series of The Hudson Brothers Razzle Dazzle Show will be relesed on DVD on June 3. The 3-disc set will also include a bonus episode from the original one-hour prime time version of the show. So, you can now see all the shows which inspired John Lennon to dub the Hudson Brothers "The Kings of Saturday Morning."
