Beatles Love and reunions this weekend in Vegas [Posted by Dave Haber on Monday, 06/23/08 6:52 pm] [Comments] [Full Blog] [Tweet This] The Fest For Beatles Fans Las Vegas 2008 is now a little less than a week away! Like last year, the fest is being held at the Mirage Hotel, and with the Cirque Du Soleil LOVE show and the Beatles Revolution Lounge, there isn't a more exciting place in Vegas for a Beatles fan to be! This year's Vegas fest promises to be as much fun as last year, with musical guests including Mark Hudson, Billy J. Kramer, Spencer Davis, Gordon Waller and Donovan! Speakers this year will include Pattie Boyd, US magager of Apple Ken Mansfield, British filmmaker Tony Palmer and Beatles cartoon animater Peter Sander. This will be Donovan's first public Las Vegas performance, ever, and this year's fest reunites Pattie Boyd and Donovon for the first time since being in Rishikesh with The Beatles in 1968! Authors who will be talking about their books will include man of incomparable Beatles knowledge Bruce Spizer, and Jude Southerland Kessler, author of an amazing book about the life of John Lennon called You Shoulda Been There. Those are just the high points, there will be lots more going on starting Sunday, June 29 at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas! I'll be blogging from the event, live! Hope to see you there!
