Beatles cartoon artist meets fans at Hard Days Night Hotel [Posted by Dave Haber on Wednesday, 08/13/08 7:04 pm] [Full Blog] [Tweet This] Ron Campbell, who directed and animated many of the Beatles Saturday morning cartoons and the Beatles Yellow Submarine feature film will have various pieces of his collection on display at the Gallery in The Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool, and will be appearing there in person. Since retiring Ron has been doing Pop Art based on the Beatles TV Cartoons. His work sells all over the USA and internationally. He will be at Gallery in The Hard Days Night Hotel meeting fans from Friday, August 22 until Monday, August 25. Also, Beatles Week starts in Liverpool on Wednesday August 20 with various events taking place throughout the city, and along with The Cavern Club, the Hard Days Night Hotel will play host to a number of live bands, including the Acoustic Beatles.
