Beatles win WMA Diamond Award

The World Music Awards were given out in Monaco last night. On behalf of his old band The Beatles, Ringo Starr was in Monaco to accept the WMA Diamond award.

The WMA Diamond award was created in 2001 to honor artists who have sold more than 100 million albums during their career.

According to the WMA, the Beatles have sold more records than any other act in history, with music sales estimated by their label at more than 1 billion records worldwide.
