Lennon Tribute to feature The Kennedys and Rosanne Cash

The show features a stellar line-up of accomplished singer-songwriters including The Kennedys and Rosanne Cash.
Also appearing will be Cliff Eberhardt and Vance Gilbert, who remain favorites on the indie folk scene after decades on the road, Carrie Rodriguez, who recently toured with Lucinda Williams and whose new album, She Ain't Me, has inspired rave reviews, Erin McKeown whose eclectic music touches on pop, swing, rock and folk and has won the praise of fans and critics alike, and Karlus Trapp, whose bluesy pop has made him a favorite on the New York City club scene for years.
They'll be joined by two outstanding New York City dance companies who will present new Lennon-inspired pieces: Wendy Osserman Dance, whose compelling choreography "honors the expressive body…powerful stuff," (Deborah Jowitt, Village Voice) and Dietz Marchant Dance, whose "exacting, exquisite performances hold back neither body or soul" (Eva Yaa Asanyewaa, Gay City News).
All proceeds benefit World Hunger Year, the grassroots organization dedicated to finding solutions to hunger and poverty, founded in 1975 by Bill Ayres and folksinger, Harry Chapin. Tickets are $55, and are available online at TheatreWithin.org or via phone at Theater Mania 212-352-3101.
