What is tweet now, turns so sour [Posted by Dave Haber on Wednesday, 01/07/09 5:44 am] [Comments] [Full Blog] [Tweet This]One of the biggest things on the internet right now is Twitter. If you've never seen it, Twitter allows communities of people to send short messages from one another, and helps friends to stay connected via the internet and their cell phones.
Now there's a new site called Historical Tweets (a "tweet" is a message on Twitter). It's a blog that imagines what tweets would have been like from famous people down through history. The imaginary historical tweets are both educational and funny, like this one from 1966:
Have fun looking through the rest of the Historical Tweets on their site, and remember, in the words of the folks from Historical Tweets, "Those who don't understand Historical Tweets are doomed to repeat them."
While we're on the subject, here are some other tweets from great moments in Beatles history that I've personally unearthed:
I've got scrambled eggs, but I can't come up with the rest of it
Who is this guy Murray the K and why is he in my hotel room?
By the way, BeatlesNews.com Twitters too! While you're tweeting with your friends, you can stay connected with the latest Beatles News! Follow BeatlesNews on Twitter!
