Beatles tribute and the SC Philharmonic Orchestra on March 3
[Posted by Dave Haber on Friday, 02/27/09 4:40 pm] [Full Blog] [Tweet This]From Sgt Peppers to Abbey Road and everything in between, that will be the order of the day next Tuesday evening, March 3, at the Koger Center in Columbia, SC, as the renowned Beatles Tribute Band The Return teams up with the full South Carolina Philharmonic Orchestra for the second time since 2003, for a special night of celebration of the Beatles music from 1966 and later.
The Return is one of the most authentic and musically talented tribute bands in the world. They thrill audiences all over US and around the world with their spot on personalities and youthful appearance. They are also known for their Birthday Jingle on beatlesradio.com which is a perfect reproduction of a version the Beatles did in the early 60s for the BBC Show "Saturday Club".
Mr. Kite, the birthday announcer for beatlesradio.com, will also be in attendance on Tuesday evening and "guarantees a pleasant time for all!"
The concert will begin at 7:30pm and sold out quickly in 2003 so if you are interested get your tickets fast. Tickets are available through The Return's website.
