Paul McCartney presents at the Golden Globes [Posted by Julian McKenzie on Sunday, 01/17/10 5:34 pm] [Full Blog] [Tweet This]Paul McCartney presented the award for the Best Animated Feature at tonight's Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles on NBC TV tonight.
Paul was very funny. He opened his presentation by saying, "Hello, I'm Paul McCartney. Or as I'm now known, that guy from Rock Band."

He also he said he loves animation and mentioned Yellow Submarine, and he said, "But animation is not only for children. It is also for adults who are on drugs."
The award went to the animated feature Up. The show is still going on at this moment, and Paul is nominated for an award, for his song "(I Want To) Come Home" for the Robert DeNiro film "Everybody's Fine."

Paul McCartney didn't win the Golden Globe for Best Song from a Motion Picture. It went to "The Weary Kind (Theme From Crazy Heart)."
