Jay Leno uses Beatles song to promote his return to late night
[Posted by Julian McKenzie on Friday, 02/19/10 9:59 am] [Full Blog] [Tweet This]NBC spots now running during the Olympics to promote the return of Jay Leno to the Tonight Show feature the Beatles song Get Back. In one of the spots, Jay Leno is driving down California's Pacific Coast Highway while Get Back plays in the background.
The version of the song in the promos is not performed by the Beatles, but the guy singing does sound a bit like Paul McCartney.
Jay Leno's return to the 11:35 time slot is scheduled for a week from Monday, March 1.
