The Cover-Up in Boston presents Wiburys tribute this weekend
[Posted by Dave Haber on Wednesday, 09/08/10 5:59 pm] [Full Blog] [Tweet This]Hosted by Brendan Boogie and co-organized by Andrea Kremer, the Cover-Up is a live music series based in Boston, where stars of the Boston music scene pay tribute to favorites from the past. This weekend, The Cover-Up celebrates the music of the Traveling Wilburys with our first ever two-night spectacular.
Both nights feature full sets by Brendan Boogie as Roy Orbison, Jason Dunn as George Harrison, Kingsley Flood as Bob Dylan, Mercy James as Jeff Lynne and Spirit Kid as Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.
The individual performances will be followed each night by the five front men joining together for a full set of Traveling Wilburys classics.
The Traveling Wilburys tribute takes place this Friday, September 10 and Saturday, September 11 at the The Lizard Lounge (Below Cambridge Common), which is located at 1667 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge MA. Music starts promptly at 9:00 pm. Admission for those 21 and over are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
