Beatles DJ Ken Michaels' website now includes a new exclusive interview with veteran recording artist/producer Todd Rundgren. The entire hour-long interview focuses on the Beatles.
Todd discusses how he became aware of the Beatles, the first song he heard from the group, his growing love for them, whether they were an influence on his own music, and more. A interesting highlight of the interview is Todd talking about the tribute album to the Beatles that he recorded with Utopia in 1980 called "Deface The Music."
Todd has been a member of Ringo's All-Starr Band three times, and he discusses what it's been like performing with these mega-star lineups, and playing with the world's most famous drummer.
Ken says, "It was a thrill for me to talk to one of our greatest talents, and Todd was generous to give me an hour with him. He opened up on a lot of subjects regarding the Beatles, and I'm very grateful to Todd, and happy to be sharing it with my listeners."
Ken's syndicated Beatles radio show "Every Little Thing" is currently heard on 18 stations, including as a live broadcast on 88.7 WNHU, West Haven, CT Wednesdays 8-10pm (est) which you can stream at www.wnhu.net. His website also features recent interviews with Beatles engineer Ken Scott and Beatles author Robert Rodriguez. Find out more at www.kenmichaelsradio.com.
