Two of Beatles talk show host Ken Michaels' recent live broadcasts of his weekly show "Every Little Thing" celebrating Ringo Starr's 75th birthday are now available for streaming at the Global Texan Chronicles website.
The first Ringo radio special was a 2-hour birthday show, highlighted by a 30-minute thematic set of Ringo's vocal collaborations/duets, featuring artists he shared the microphone with, like Buck Owens, Leon Redbone, Chrissie Hynde and Paul McCartney. The second Ringo special was a "Ringo Starr Album Sampler" in which he featured one song each from all 18 Ringo studio albums in chronological order, from "Sentimental Journey" from 1970 to his new album "Postcards From Paradise" released earlier this year.

Ken said, "That was one of the most fun shows I've done. Most people don't realize how much great music Ringo has released in his solo-career. How many people are aware he's now released 18 albums? That's a lot of music! And what I particularly enjoy is making the public aware of how much music Ringo has written. While he wrote a lot of songs in the 70's with Vini Poncia, he's actually co-written almost every song he's released from his 'Vertical Man' album to his latest 'Postcards From Paradise.' He's made great strides as a songwriter."
The syndicated version of "Every Little Thing" is currently heard on 20 radio stations, Ken also does a live, completely different version of the show, heard Wednesdays 8-10pm (EST) on WNHU, West Haven, CT, which you can stream on the station's website and on the Tune In App. The Global Texan Chronicles website normally airs the syndicated version of his show every week, but occasionally rebroadcasts some of the live shows. All of Ken's shows can be heard on their website.
Ken's work can also be heard in a weekly Beatles talk-show "Things We Said Today," heard on affiliate stations Fab4Radio and Pure Pop Radio. Also, Ken's website features weekly Beatles trivia and games, with a chance to win one of 9 prizes (CDs. DVDs, books) and interviews with many people associated with the Beatles.
