Paul McCartney wanted to join Grohl supergroup
 Paul McCartney has revealed that he wanted to join Dave Grohl's supergroup Them Crooked Vultures. According to the Daily Mail in the UK, the former Beatles star admitted that he asked Grohl when the pair attended dinner after the Grammy's last February, but bass player John Paul Jones had already been recruited. [More...] Comments: I do understand the situation, but solution would have been to say - wait a minute- then I'd have called John Paul Jones & explained to him what happened & that Paul McCartney was now the Bass player in the band. That's like saying beethoven vs. Mozart on bass. Plus JPJ can produce and arrange with modern equipment. Paul could be the utility man in that band. But then JPJ and Paul would take over the band.
