1. Personal Information

The email address of each user who signs up for the Beatles News Alert is kept on our system to allow us to send them daily emails containing Beatles news headlines updates.

Email addresses collected for the purpose of sending News Alerts are never displayed anywhere on the system. In addition, each email alert is sent individually, so email addresses of each user are never disclosed to the other News Alert users.

Email addresses of News Alert users will never be sold or otherwise disclosed to any outside party.

2. List Removal

You may remove your email address from the Beatles News Alert system at any time.

To remove yourself from our News Alert list, click on the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the News Alert messages.

You may also send an email from the email address that receives News Alerts to Please put "unsubscribe" in the subject of your email message.

3. Information Disclosure

As with most other websites, we collect and use the data contained in log files to measure how often our site is visited. The information in the log files may include your IP address (usually that of your internet service provider), the type of browser you used to visit our site (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox), the time you visited and which pages of our site were viewed.

This site does not collect personal information about visitors to the site in any way. In addition, we never sell or otherwise disclose web site usage statistics to any outside party.

4. Use of Cookies

BeatlesNews.com may sometimes employ cookies to facilitate the operation of special features of the system.

A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies are not harmful or dangerous, they cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer, or divulge information about you against your wishes. When a Beatles Poll is active, BeatlesNews.com sets a cookie in your browser to keep track of your voting status on the poll, allowing you to see voting results updates after you've voted.

Currently, BeatlesNews.com has no active features that set cookies.

BeatlesNews.com uses third-party ad companies, including Google and DoubleClick DART, to display ads on our site. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.

Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to your browser based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet. They do NOT track personal information about you, such as your name, email address, physical address, telephone number, social security numbers, bank account numbers or credit card numbers.
