He knew Beatles would be bigger than Elvis before Brian  |
 Billy Kinsley was interviewed on Sunday as part of the Liverpool Beatles Convention. Billy told about the many times he got to see and work with the Fab Four in the sixties and said he "knew the Beatles were going to be bigger than Elvis even before Brian Epstein" when he saw them perform at the Cavern Club in January 1962.

| Author talks about new Paul McCartney book in Liverpool |
 Author Howard Sounes appeared as a guest speaker Sunday at the Adelphi Hotel as part of the Liverpool Beatles Convention to talk about his new book on Paul McCartney, "Fab: An Intimate Life of Paul McCartney", which was released last week in England and will be released in the US in October.

 Billy J. Kramer and his band "The New Dakotas" performed Tuesday night at the Cavern Club for the first time in more than 42 years, and his first performance in Liverpool in 13 years, as part of the closing night for the Liverpool Beatles Festival 2010. Billy received a huge response from the packed audience.

| John Lennon peace rally at Lincoln Memorial on Thursday |
 Organizers of Abbey Road on the River today announced plans to host "Give Peace a Chance" on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 11:11pm. The moonlit sing-a-long of John Lennon's 1969 single will honor the legendary musician in front of the Lincoln Memorial on the steps of the Reflecting Pool.

 The Casbah Club had a tent outside the downstairs from the club yesterday for acoustic acts as part of this year's Liverpool Beatles Festival. The acoustic acts were great because you could also sit outside in the sunshine and enjoy the great weather in the large backyard of the former home of Pete Best.

 It's taken over forty years, but at last Los Angeles and the west coast of America has a Beatles tour of their own. It's called A Magical History Tour and is guided by Beatles expert Gillian Lomax, who researched and developed the tour. "The longer I was here in Los Angeles, the more I realized how many connections the are to the Beatles."

 Today we remember Brian Epstein, who passed away 43 years ago on this day, August 27, 1967. He believed in the Beatles when no one else did and tamed them without changing who they were. It's a crime an accident took Brian from us at such a young age. He was only 32, but he lives on in the hearts of every Beatles fan forever.

 In a new interview in the London Free Press, Travis lead singer Fran Healy says, "I wrote this song called As It Comes, and the refrain reminded me of The Beatles. I thought, 'Why don't I get in touch with him?' I know Paul. We met in 2000 on holiday. So I sent it to him last July and he did it.

Beatles Hall of Fame inductee Hal Bruce, BritBeat and Drew Harrison, Lennon vocalist of the San Francisco Bay Area's The Sun Kings, will perform.
