50th anniversary of Beatles in Seattle to be recreated live on Thursday

Seattle's favorite Beatles cover band, Creme Tangerine, will perform the Beatles' 1966 Seattle concert, note for note and in its entirely, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of this iconic moment in the city's rock history. The Beatles 1966 Seattle concert was performed at the Seattle Center Coliseum, now called the Key Arena.

Los Angeles Dodgers celebrate 50th anniversary of Beatles concert

This Friday, The Los Angeles Dodgers will celebrate the Beatles 50th anniversary of playing one of their final concerts at Dodger Stadium. Special ticket packages are being made available that include your ticket to the game vs. the Chicago Cubs and a special Beatles Dodger Stadium 50th Anniversary Beach Towel.
Teen musician to shine at Beatles at the Ridge Festival

This year, talented young musician Cameron Hicks is returning to Beatles at the Ridge as a Guest Presenter for the Beatles Artists and Authors Symposium. He swept the judges away and brought the crowds to their feet at last year's festival's Youth Talent Contest. Cameron will be performing three times during the weekend.

RTE Radio One to broadcast Beatles play on Sunday

The national broadcaster in Ireland, RTE Radio One, will broadcast the play "Death and the Beatles Fan" by Stephen Kennedy on Sunday, August 21. The play is a black comedy about what happens when Death attempts to kill a Beatles' fan who really has no interest in dying, basically a Beatles-filled spoof of The Seventh Seal.

Up-and-coming artist Jay Kelly has just signed with 910 Public Relations, an independent PR firm specializing in Beatles and music-related artists and authors. Based in Dorset, England, Jay Kelly is a fan of the 1960s and particularly The Beatles, interests that are heavily reflected in his work, which often lends itself to the "pop art" genre.

On Friday, August 12, 2016, Connecticut-based Beatles fan club Liverpool Productions will present a very special "An Evening of Beatlemania" in East Haven, CT. The event commemorates the fiftieth anniversary of The Beatles' very last concert in 1966. The Hofners, one of the finest Beatles tribute bands, will perform.

Beatles music scholar and author Aaron Krerowicz has just released his fourth book, Days in the Life, co-written with his father, about their life on the road. Days in the Life follows Aaron and John Krerowicz as they toured through seven U.S. states across the South and West, while Aaron gave presentations on The Beatles at each stop.

Two Louisiana artists come together at Beatles at the Ridge

Last Sunday, Gillian Lomax's Beatles Magical History Tours of Los Angeles had a very special guest, founding member of The Moody Blues and guitarist with Paul McCartney and Wings, Denny Laine. According to Gillian, there were "No Words" to describe how thrilling it was having Denny Laine come on her tour.

After years of waiting for her big break in Hollywood, Shannon Joy Rodgers has set out to create her own. She has written, and will edit and star in Blackbird, a short film that she is currently trying to crowdfund on Kickstarter, about a young black girl living in the south in 1964 that is trying to attend a racially segregated Beatles concert.

Beatles art collector Ken Orth he has accumulated over 1,800 pieces of commercial artwork that resembles a Beatles' album cover. John Lennon spotted at Capitol Records tower in Hollywood

About a week ago, on of one Gillian Lomax's Beatles Magical History Tours of Los Angeles, Gillian and her tour guests were surprised with something special outside of the Capitol Records tower, a chalk-drawing of John Lennon holding up a peace sign on a psychedelic background on the sidewalk, drawn by an anonymous fan.

Longest-running Lennon celebration joins with Hollywood Walk of Fame

Enoch's Irish Pub & Cafe in Monroe, LA has been hosting Lennon birthday celebrations for the last 35 years, and with this year being a milestone birthday for both John and his son, Sean Lennon, who is turning 40, there will be a special simulcast song this Friday with the celebration at the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
