200 music students celebrate Cavern Club's 55th anniversary

Liverpool's world famous Cavern Club was packed with hundreds of young students and their parents who traveled over 3 hours from Solihull, the heart of England, and is located in the West Midlands, for a once in a lifetime opportunity to perform onstage on the Cavern Club's 55th anniversary on Monday.

New book explores the influences of the Beatles

The Beatles are arguably the most influential cultural phenomena of the 20th century, and still exert a massive impact on the culture, over 50 years later. They inspired countless bands that followed in their wake. But who inspired the Beatles? Author Bruce Pollock tackled that question in his latest book, "If You Like The Beatles..."

Connecticut Beatles celebration set for Beatles anniversary

On Friday night, February 10th, in celebration of The Beatles arrival in the U.S., Connecticut-based Beatles fan club Liverpool Productions will present their annual "Twist & Shout Dinner Dance Party" in Milford. The Beatles first landed on U.S. soil in February of 1964 and played their very first Ed Sullivan Show on February 9, 1964.

Liverpool commemorates John Lennon at European Peace Monument

Fans of the late Beatle John Lennon came together last night in Liverpool to pay their respects to the music legend as the world marked the 31st anniversary of his death. Crowds of people from all over the world gathered at the "Peace & Harmony" monument dedicated to John in its new location at Kings Dock outside of ACC Liverpool.

McCartney tribute band marks 10th anniversary of passing of George Harrison

New England-based tribute band "One Sweet Dream: The Paul McCartney Experience!" will be performing a special concert next Tuesday, the 10th anniversary of the passing of George Harrison. Along with the usual format of Paul's Beatles and solos, there will also be a special set of George Harrison's Beatles and solos, including Traveling Wilburys.

A live album chronicling the sold out, star-studded 30th Annual John Lennon Tribute in New York City will be released tomorrow, November 15. Strawberry Fields to be recreated in L.A. for John Lennon's birthday

Beatles tribute to be unveiled in Arkansas

The Beatles electrified a small Arkansas town when they made a surprise visit in 1964, now, they're coming back. Walnut Ridge, Ark., will unveil a life-sized sculpture of the Beatles on Sept. 18, culminating a festival and concert that will take place that day. The sculpture is an artist's rendering of the Abbey Road album cover.

Shannon, The World's Greatest Beatles Artist, has been commissioned to create the first exclusive painting for The Cavern Club in Liverpool that was made world famous by The Beatles. In a telephone call today with Beatles author/historian Bruce Spizer, Beatles News confirmed that Bruce's latest book, "Beatles For Sale on Parlophone Records," has arrived in his hometown of New Orleans. Local boy returns to play Ringo at Foxwoods in Connecticut

Legends in Concert, the longest running celebrity tribute show, will commence nightly performances featuring live re-creations of superstars of yesterday and today. New book on schedule to debut at Chicago Beatles Fest in August

Bruce Spizer has received a small number of advance copies of his upcoming book "Beatles For Sale on Parlophone Records." According to Spizer, the copies arrived about a week ahead of schedule, giving him confidence that the book will indeed be available for sale at the August 5 ? 7, 2011, Fest for Beatles Fans in Chicago.
