Front Page > Paul McCartney NewsOne Sweet Dream McCartney tribute April 1st in Milford
After five sold-out Beatle nights, Aldario's Restaurant in Milford CT decided it was time to do a variation on the theme with a dinner dance party similar in format to the highly-successful events catering to the Fab Four fans. "One Sweet Dream" comes to Aldario's Restaurant, 240 Naugatuck Avenue in Milford on Friday, April 1, 2011 for one night only.
"One Sweet Dream," sub-titled "The Paul McCartney Experience," is a tribute to Sir Paul McCartney with live concert sets from his Beatles era, Wings years and also his solo career. The band features Connecticut's McCartney impersonator/look-alike Mike Miller on bass & lead vocals, and Milford's Jeffrey DiCera on drums.
 Mike Miller as Paul McCartney
Mike Miller has been paying tribute to McCartney for over 20 years, and he has appeared worldwide as the famous bass player. His band most recently showcased in front of fans at "BEATexpo 2010," the New York/New England Beatles Convention, where they were joined onstage by Paul McCartney's former partner in WINGS, musician Denny Laine.
This dinner dance party is actually the finale of Aldario's three-part "Winter Concert Series," which is produced by Liverpool Productions. Before and after the live sets, there will be dancing to music provided by Boppers DJ Charles F. Rosenay, playing a mix of British rock and 60s favorites mixed in with some interactive dances, contests and prize giveaways. As The Beatles (and specifically Paul McCartney) once sang, "It's guaranteed to raise a smile."
For reservations to "One Sweet Dream: The Paul McCartney Experience" or menu information, call Aldario's Restaurant at (203) 874-6096.
