The Women Historians and Scholars Panel at the Fest for Beatles Fans last weekend was a relatively new panel comprised of women writers who have made their mark in the Beatles community. The women on the panel talked about many aspects of the impact the Beatles had on their lives, their generation, and society in general.

Over 8,000 Beatles fans attended the NYC Fest for Beatles Fans in Manhattan on Saturday. It was the highest attendance of any Fest for Beatles Fans, breaking all attendance records, and the largest of any held with 4 floors of exhibits, speakers, special guests, multiple marketplaces, Beatles authors and more.

Fest for Beatles Fans honors 50th anniversary of arrival in America

The weekend of February 7-9, 1964 is remembered as the magical weekend that the Beatles flew to America and performed on the Ed Sullivan Show live for the first time. Fifty years later to the day, thousands of fans from all over America converged on New York for the Fest for Beatles Fans to celebrate the occasion.

2014 Fest unique and memorable way to spend 50th anniversary

The Fest for Beatles Fans in New York City this year will feature a bus that will take fans to JFK Airport on Friday, February 7, to see where the boys stepped off the Pan Am flight at 1:20 p.m. to thousands of screaming fans, also re-live the exact moments they went to Central Park and performed on the Ed Sullivan Show.

Cousin Brucie to broadcast from NYC 2014 Fest for Beatles Fans

Former WINS, WABC, WNBC, WCBS FM host, master of the top 40 format at its peak, and now heard on SiriusXM satellite radio, Bruce "Cousin Brucie" Morrow will do his national radio show live from the 2014 Fest for Beatles Fans in New York on Feb. 8 from 69 p.m. Morrow emceed the Beatles famous Shea Stadium concert in 1965.

Fan in McCartney video to be special guest at 2014 Fest

Irene Katz, the girl in the often played video from 1964 screaming for the Beatles when they first landed in New York, will be a special guest at the 2014 Fest for Beatles Fans, it was announced today. Her life-long fantasy of travelling with Paul McCartney came true in 2002, Paul selected the video of her for one of his concert montages.

Beatles NYC 50 Festival set for Feb. 6-9

In New York, where the Beatles touched down at JFK Airport on Feb. 7, 1964, four days of musical tributes have been slated from Feb. 6 through Feb. 9 for the NYC Beatles 50 celebration, starting with "Twist & Shout: New York Celebrates the Beatles," and the next day an "all-star concert" is slated for the Apollo Theater in Harlem.
