It's 46 years since Brian Epstein. He gave us the Beatles, the least he deserves in return is our respect, gratitude and love. Brian was one of nine inductees to the 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but in five and half hours, the amount of time Peter Asher had to speak about Brian was only two and a half minutes.

Brian Epstein inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Last night, the 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted legendary Beatles manager Brian Epstein in New York City. "Brian loved, protected and respected the Beatles," said Peter Asher, who inducted Epstein. "He took his responsibilities extremely seriously.... His biggest fear was letting the Beatles down in any way, whatsoever."

Video: Epstein campaigner on 15 year fight to have Brian inducted

Getting Brian Epstein into the Hall Of Fame has been a 15 year battle for Martin Lewis. The Beatles were inducted the third year it was open in 1986. Their legendary producer George Martin got in 13 years later, but there had been no such honor for Epstein until tonight. He will then be inducted along with the rest of the class on 2014.

Rolling Stones manager skips own induction to protest Rock Hall of Fame

Former Rolling Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham will skip his own induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this week. He says he objects to the way cameras are allowed to record award show highlights for subsequent TV specials, and is unhappy he and Beatles manager Brian Epstein were being inducted jointly.

Rock Hall of Fame induction will be full of no-shows

Next week's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame show looks like it's going to be a mess. Of the nominees, Linda Ronstadt isn't coming at all. Cat Stevens is still considering his options. KISS won't perform because they're all fighting with each other. Nirvana can't perform because Kurt Cobain. Brian Epstein's family weren't even invited.

Rock Hall of Fame to simulcast induction ceremony in Cleveland

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced that the entire induction ceremony, which takes place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. on April 10, will be simulcast on a 12-foot screen on the museum's Main Stage Theater and on other screens in the museum in Cleveland. 2014 Inductees include Dave Grohl and Brian Epstein.

Beatles manager Brian Epstein to be honored by Rock Hall of Fame

Beatles manager Brian Epstein will receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award for non-performers with the 2014 class of the Rock 'n' Roll of Fame, Rolling Stone reported Dec. 16. Epstein's induction has been the source of much campaigning by Beatles fans. The induction ceremony will be held at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on April 10.
