At Liverpool BeatleWeek, Geoff Baker said that Liverpool is the Fifth Beatle, because his favorite Paul McCartney concerts both took place in Liverpool. Geoff was in conversation with author Mark Lewisohn at the recent International BeatleWeek last August 27, at the Liverpool Adelphi hotel, before a standing room only audience.

The recording engineer who told off the Beatles

Ken Scott, who worked with the Beatles as a Recording Engineer at EMI, for the first time shared stories of his work on Magical Mystery Tour and the White Album at the recent International BeatleWeek convention. He told the audience how one time he had to yell at the Beatles to shut up, because he couldn't hear the tape he was editing.

Big changes to 2018 Liverpool International BeatleWeek

Bill Heckle, who is a Managing Director for Cavern City Tours, has announced big changes to next year's 2018 Liverpool International BeatleWeek due to rising costs and declining attendance. Bill spoke at the annual International BeatleWeek convention on Sunday, August 27, before a packed audience at the Liverpool Adelphi.
