Powerpuff Girls art director and character designer said, about working with Ringo on the new Powderpuffs episode, "Ringo was absolutely amazing and I had the experience of a lifetime in meeting him and seeing him perform with his All-Star band! He is inspiring and seemed to have all of the same energy as he did 50 some years ago!"

Video: First look at Ringo in the Powerpuff Girls

Ringo Starr will guest star on an all-new episode of Cartoon Network's The Powerpuff Girls which premiers Monday, January 20. Ringo performs a special song in honor of the animated trio Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup. Now available streaming on the internet is an exclusive first look at his performance for the show, "I Wish I Was a Powerpuff Girl."

Ringo Starr set as guest voice for new Powerpuff Girls special

The Powerpuff Girls, the animated series about three young girls with superpowers, is coming back to the Cartoon Network for a special event. Ringo Starr will voice Fibonacci Sequins, Townsville's most famous mathematician, Viacom confirmed earlier this morning. There will also be an original song titled "I Wish I Was A Powerpuff Girl."
