Viewing the artifacts, letters, photographs and videos is like discovering Ringo all over again, and learning things about him not generally known during The Beatles' heyday.

The Grammy Museum offers free admission on Friday

In celebration of its fifth anniversary, the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles is offering free admission this Friday, December 6. Museum visitors can explore 30,000 square feet of interactive multi­media exhibits, including "Ringo: Peace and Love," which features the drum kit Ringo used at the Beatles performance at Shea Stadium.

Ringo Starr talks about his Grammy Museum exhibit, and a priceless piece of pre-Beatles memorabilia from his time with Rory Storm and the Hurricanes. "The great letter, I love, from Rory Storm. This shows you what it was like in those days. He's written to me to tell me we're playing on Thursday night. We didn't have a phone!"
