Founder – International Beatles Freak Day
Dear Beatles Freaks and Fans around the world,
I wanted to take a moment to thank each one of you for helping to make Thursday, International Beatles Freak Day 2010, the most successful year yet. I could literally feel the love from everyone around the world. And if you think I couldn't know you were out there, you're wrong.
The hits to the I-BFD.com website tell me that Beatles fans came from all around the world. The love poured in from: the U.S, U.K., Canada, Australia, Spain, Peru, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Ireland, Belgium, Mexico, Sweden, Germany, Russia, Portugal, Brazil, Romania, Philippines, Finland, Ukraine, Norway, Denmark, Turkey, Israel, Hong Kong, Thailand and Japan. (If I missed any...my apologies)
This is what International Beatles Freak Day was intended for – a day when Beatles fans can come together and celebrate the greatest band the world has ever know. Whether you celebrated with us online at Beatles-A-Rama web radio or you celebrated with friends or with your children, we applaud you and thank you for making this a great day for all us.
We all know the power the Beatles music to make us laugh, cry, hum, sing, dance and just smile. Imagine living everyday with that feeling of love. Not just on January 14th, but everyday. I felt it yesterday...and I still feel the glow today thanks to all of you.
Feel the love! And thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Peace,
Jennifer L. Vanderslice Published January 16, 2010
