Beatles charity celebrates Help album anniversary
To coincide with the 45th anniversary since the release of the Beatles Help! album, Liverpool's Hard Days Night Hotel will play host to an intimate gig to help raise funds for the Beatles Day Foundation.
The show, performed by world-renowned Beatles tribute act the Backbeat Beatles, is part of the hotel's ongoing support for the charity as it countdowns to the John Lennon Tribute season this autumn.
Mike Dewey, General Manager at the Hard Days Night Hotel, says, "Following on from the huge success of our live balcony gig last month in celebration of World Beatles Day, we are once again delighted to be working in conjunction with the Beatles Day Foundation. We wanted to host another event to raise crucial funds for the charity and thought the anniversary of the 'Help' album would mark a fitting tribute to celebrate some of the Beatles most famous hits."
He added, "We would once again like to thank the Backbeat Beatles for teaming up with the hotel to host what promises to be another truly outstanding event in aid of the local community."

Actor and musician Chris O'Neill who starred in the Bafta award-winning Beatles film 'Backbeat' formed the Backbeat Beatles in 1994. The band, famed for their authentic, high-energy performances and Sgt. Pepper's regalia, will perform a selection of the Beatles much-loved hits, including 'Ticket to Ride' and 'Help', which appear on the Help! Album.
Gill O'Neill, Beatles Day Organiser says, "This will be the first of many ticketed events we have planned at the Hard Day's Night Hotel. As a charity we need to raise funds all year round. As our events all celebrate the legacy of the Beatles, it makes sense to hold them in conjunction with this fantastic Beatles inspired hotel. It will be a really intimate gig with a limited number of tickets, so make sure you don't miss the opportunity to grab yours quickly!"
The Backbeat Beatles performance will take place on Saturday 14th August at 8pm in the hotel's exclusive Beatles-inspired Zygmant Suite.
All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Beatles Day foundation, which raises money for local worthy causes in particular those which promote the health and well being of children and young people.
Tickets for the event can be purchased from the hotel's reception at a cost of £7.00 per person. For further information, please contact the hotel by calling 0151-236-1964 or email email@example.com.
