Her Royal Highness will be greeted at the entrance by a staff member dressed in a colorful Sgt. Pepper costume before being invited to meet members of The Beatles Story team. In The Cavern area of the attraction The Duchess will have the opportunity to see a short performance by The Mersey Beatles, one of the country's leading Beatles tribute bands before moving on to The Beatles Story's Discovery Zone where HRH will meet pupils from Liverpool's Saint Vincent De Paul primary school.

The visit will conclude with the unveiling of the 50th anniversary plaque specially commissioned for the occasion. The plaque will then be on permanent display for all visitors to the attraction.

Jerry Goldman, MD of Beatles Story comments, "It is a great honor to offer Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall a warm welcome as she visits the birthplace of The Beatles during our wonderful 50th anniversary celebration year.

"We hope that she will gain a lot of pleasure from visiting the exhibition and finding out even more about the world's greatest rock 'n' roll band.

"The children of Saint Vincent De Paul primary school are very excited about meeting Her Royal Highness in our Discovery Zone which uses the story of The Beatles to educate children in line with the National Curriculum. We sincerely hope she has a splendid time."
