When you think of LA, you think of the stars. So it shouldn't surprise anyone that the Beatles have left their mark on Los Angeles. They performed here as a group, as well as individually. Each member of the Beatles has lived here at one time or another, and George Harrison actually wrote a song about a real place in the city where he stayed.

Los Angeles Beatles tour remembers George Harrison this weekend

This weekend, February 25, would have been George Harrison's 74th birthday. To celebrate, Gillian Lomax will be taking Los Angeles Beatles fans on a special Magical History Tour this Sunday that will highlight many of the places in the Los Angeles area that were special to him, including Blue Jay Way and Lake Shrine in Pacific Pallisades.

Denny Laine gets special Beatles tour of Los Angeles

Last Sunday, Gillian Lomax's Beatles Magical History Tours of Los Angeles had a very special guest, founding member of The Moody Blues and guitarist with Paul McCartney and Wings, Denny Laine. According to Gillian, there were "No Words" to describe how thrilling it was having Denny Laine come on her tour.

Denny Laine to perform this Saturday at San Diego Beatles Fair

This Saturday, original member of the Moody Blues and member of Paul McCartney and Wings from 1971 to 1981, Denny Laine, will appear at the 2016 San Diego Beatles Fair at Queen Bee's Art & Cultural Center in San Diego. Denny Laine will perform the Moody Blues' first hit "Go Now" from 1964, and also participate in a Q&A.

John Lennon spotted at Capitol Records tower in Hollywood

About a week ago, on of one Gillian Lomax's Beatles Magical History Tours of Los Angeles, Gillian and her tour guests were surprised with something special outside of the Capitol Records tower, a chalk-drawing of John Lennon holding up a peace sign on a psychedelic background on the sidewalk, drawn by an anonymous fan.

Liverpudlians reveal new Beatles stories at Beatlefest panels

At the Los Angeles Fest for Beatles Fans held October 10 thru 12 at the LA Airport Marriott hotel, there were several panel discussions that offered new stories into the early days of the Beatles in Liverpool as experienced by a diverse group of Liverpudlians, including Julia Baird, John Lennon's half-sister and Angie and Ruth McCartney.

LA Beatles Tour guide helps fans reach out to Ringo on his birthday

Yesterday, July 7, 2014, was Ringo Starr's 74th birthday. To let him know how his fans feel on his birthday, Los Angeles Beatles Tour guide Gillian Lomax gathered birthday wishes for Ringo on twitter and combined them into a massive birthday card which she presented to Ringo by delivering it to his house in Beverly Hills today.

During her latest Los Angeles Beatles tour last weekend, tour guide Gillian Lomax came upon something she'd never seen before. Arriving at John Lennon's star in front of the Capitol Records building in Hollywood, to her horror she discovered that the star had been horribly vandalized, scrawled all over with indelible magic markers.

We had the pleasure to attend James McCartney's live performance at the Viper Club in Hollywood last night. Waiting outside for James to arrive, fans were surprised to see him get out of the car with Ringo Starr! The crowd's favorites were when James played his cover of Neil Young's "Old Man" and his hit single from the Available Light EP, "Angel".

Beatles tour guide to be in Vegas for Love's 5th anniversary

Discovering L.A.'s hidden Beatles history

I have lived in Los Angeles for more than thirty years and I've been a Beatles fans since the day they were on the Ed Sullivan show.
