One more stop in Liverpool today before the big concert tonight!
Visitors to Liverpool's Beatles Story exhibition queued up in record numbers today despite having to wait outside in the rain for an hour.
Visitors in town for Paul McCartney's concert also packed the new expanded Beatles Story Shop today with long queues (that means "waiting in line" for you "yanks"!)
Liverpool had fantastic sunny weather yesterday but the blue skies turned to an overcast rainclouds and started raining late Sunday morning. Anfield stadium is an outdoors stadium but is mostly covered except for a small part of the soccer field. But fans are determined to see Paul McCartney's only appearance in Liverpool and brave the cold and rain.
Regardless a good time will be had by all 36,000 fans who are turning out for Paul's concert with doors opening at 5PM and opening acts start at 6PM. I can't wait!
