|Woodland Hills gets Ticket to Ride|

Last evening I had the pleasure to attend a wonderful and fun event. Beatles tribute band Ticket To Ride performed a free concert in Woodland Hills, CA., thanks to the Valley Cultural Center. About 8000 people attended, a record for these free concerts in the park.
Ticket to Ride is one of the country's top Beatles sound-a-like bands, and features Jeff Toczynski (Paul), Gilbert Bonilla (John), David Kaufman (George) and Mike Sarafian (Ringo). Ticket to Ride has traveled the world re-creating the Beatles "Live in Concert."
The boys start the show and play the first half in the Beatles' iconic 1964 collarless suits, playing all the Beatles early hits like She Loves You and I Want To Hold Your Hand. Gilbert Bonilla brought the house down with the last song before the intermission as he belted out Twist and Shout with the same enthusiasm as John's original performance.

After the intermission, the boys become Sgt. Pepper's, dressed in the famous colorful band uniforms, and the audience was treated to the amazing talents of David Kaufman, as he faithfully and artfully recreated the guitar of George during songs like Taxman and While My Guitar Gently Weeps. During the second half, they change into the Beatles as they were dressed on the Abbey Road cover, and the crowd was treated to John sitting at the keyboard singing Imagine and Paul leading the group in Get Back, making the audience believe, if they closed their eyes, that they were all up on a rooftop in London.
Ticket to Ride played for more than two hours. They gave a great show, and the big audience really appreciated it, myself included!
The free concerts in the park are brought to the people of the San Fernando Valley by the non-profit Valley Cultural Center.
