[Posted by Dave Haber on Friday, 10/10/08 11:18 am] [Full Blog] [Tweet] [Facebook]

This sunday afternoon, WZLX's Breakfast with the Beatles presents The Original Quarrymen, at the Cavern Club room in Boston's Hard Rock Cafe. These are the same Quarrymen that were performing with John Lennon, on the day he met Paul McCartney!

The Quarrymen will perform and tell stories of their days with John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison. This is the week of what would have been John Lennon's Birthday, so you're invited to come and celebrate the life of John Lennon with the Quarrymen at this special event.

You can get tcikets for the Quarrymen today at ticketweb.com, or at the door of the Hard Rock Cafe on the night of the show, this Sunday night, 5pm, doors open at 4 pm.

This special event is hosted by Cha-Chi, host of Breakfast with the Beatles, Sunday mornings at 8am on WZLX-Boston and by live stream and podcast at wzlx.com.
