Historic NYC Beatles location to host Beatles authors

The Audio Engineering Society of New York will host a presentation about recording the Beatles, on the same stage where the band made its American television debut.

On Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City, Kevin Ryan and Brian Kehew, authors of the book "Recording the Beatles," will talk about the techniques and technology used by the engineers, producers and artists responsible for the Beatles recordings. The event will be moderated by Malcolm Addey, a recording engineer who started at Abbey Road.

The AES says anyone may attend. The event is free but seating is limited. To attend, RSVP via e-mail to
