An exhibit of Beatles inspired canvas portraits by artist Anthony Brown is now open at The Gallery, Hard Days Night Hotel through August 28, 2009. In a unique celebration of The Beatles, one of the greatest cultural icons of the modern age, the work is being exhibited yards from where their meteoric rise to fame began.
Brown over 40 years has collected newspapers, photographs, memorabilia, reproductions, certificates, song lyrics and magazines to create a montage which is at the foundation for his new oil paintings. The mixed media works compromises every aspect of the life and work of The Beatles.
The Gallery at the Hard Days Night Hotel will sell the complete range of Anthony Brown merchandise, including limited edition prints, canvas prints and collector's fine bone china.
