Every Sunday on Breakfast with the Beatles on KLOS in Los Angeles, they play a game called "Who's Singing That Beatles Song?" Last Sunday host Chris Carter played The Standells cover of Eleanor Rigby.

What made this weeks game more interesting was that the winner would receive not only a pair of concert tickets but a pizza delivered to their front door by The Standells original guitarist Tony Valentino!

The Standells

It turns out that Tony Valentino is a big fan of Breakfast with the Beatles and listens to the show, and he offered the deliver a pizza to the winner of the game if Chris played The Standells version of Eleanor Rigby on the air! Beatle Gary from Los Angeles was the lucky winner.

You can hear audio of Tony Valentino and the lucky winner, and more fun audio clips from Breakfast with the Beatles here.

Fun things like this happen every week on Breakfast with the Beatles. This coming Sunday, the Beatles tribute band Rain will be Chris Carter's guests and performing "live" in studio in conjunction with their appearances next week at LA's Pantages Theater. Tune in at 9 am on Sunday on 95.5 KLOS in Los Angeles.
