Rumor: Ringo Starr to appear on Paul McCartney's next album
[Posted by Dave Haber on Saturday, 04/11/09 7:09 pm] [Full Blog] [Tweet] [Facebook]

We haven't seen this reported anywhere at all yet, except from this one source, so we're treating this as total rumor and gossip at this time. The Bild website in Germany is reporting that Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are set to record a new album together.

Paul and Ringo last weekend in New York City

Bild says the former Beatles, who performed together at a charity concert in New York City's Radio City Music Hall last Saturday, plan to head into the studio later this year.

It also quotes a source who reportedly said, "It has been a long time since Ringo played drums on any of Paul's songs but they've decided they can work together again. They had a fantastic time in New York, and realise they still work well together. They're now getting together later in the year to work on some of Paul's new songs."

Once again, this information is totally unconfirmed at this point. Stay tuned for updates.
