Jude Southerland Kessler, author of the historically researched novel "Shoulda Been There" and a world renowned Beatles expert, will be on hand at the May 28th performance of "The Black Jacket Symphony Presents Abbey Road" to meet fans and answer any Beatles related questions that concerts goers may have about the Fab Four.

Jude has spent 20 years and made seven trips to Liverpool to research her comprehensive and thorough novel about the life of John Lennon. "Shoulda Been There", the first installment of a five book series, covers Lennon's life from 1940 to 1961. Her much anticipated second novel in the series, "Shivering Inside", is due for publication in October 2010.

Jude told Beatles News, "I'm really excited! I can't wait to hear Abbey Road performed by the very talented group of musicians, and Birmingham's a huge, very lovely metropolis. So thrilled to be invited!"

Jude will have copies of her book available for purchase and will personally inscribe each one for the reader. The concert will be on Thursday, May 28, 2009 from 8:00pm - 11:00pm at the Work Play Theatre in Birmingham, Alabama. Click here for more information or to purchase tickets.
