New George Harrison CD hard to find in New York City
[Posted by Dean Wein on Friday, 06/19/09 10:15 am] [Full Blog] [Tweet] [Facebook]

"Unlimited Supply? ... EMI!" Those lyrics from the song "EMI" by the Sex Pistols are ringing true today, as Beatle/George Harrison fans in New York can't manage to get a copy of The New George Harrison collection entitled "Let it Roll".

I've had many people contact me to see if I was able to get a copy. One of the major retail chains, Best Buy, had it in their weekly flyer as a sale item this week. They even had a picture of it. I asked them at a Best Buy store to look up their other stores to see if any of them have a copy, and none of them did. I've been to another retail chain, Target, and they don't have it either.

Does anyone have any info on why we can't obtain copies of the new George Harrison CD? If anyone reading this has any info on this, we'd like to know why we can't seem to get a copy of the new George Harrison CD in NYC.

Maybe Paul McCartney was right about leaving Capiol/EMI.
