[Posted by Dave Haber on Wednesday, 08/12/09 4:14 pm] [Full Blog] [Tweet] [Facebook]

Ticket to Ride, A Tribute to the Beatles will be performing live on Sunday, August 16, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm in a Concert in the Park in Woodland Hills, Ca.

Ticket to Ride is one of the country's top Beatles sound-a-like bands, and features Jeff Toczynski (Paul), Gilbert Bonilla (John), David Kaufman (George) and Mike Sarafian (Ringo). Ticket to Ride has traveled the world re-creating the Beatles "Live in Concert."

I had the pleasure to attend this wonderful and fun event last year, hosted by the Valley Cultural Center. About 8000 people attended, a record for these free concerts in the park. If you're a Beatles fan and you're anywhere in the area, I highly recommend this show!

Thanks to the generosity of their corporate sponsors, grants and members, Valley Cultural Center is able to offer all these concerts for free. Concerts in the Park are held at the beautiful Lou Bredlow Pavilion in Warner Park, in Woodland Hills, on Topanga Canyon Blvd. just north of the 101 freeway. There is plenty of room for a late afternoon picnic with the family while being entertained by the performers.

For more information, visit Valley Cultural Center.
