Beatles Tribute band wanted for event this Sunday
[Posted by Dave Haber on Thursday, 09/17/09 6:42 pm] [Full Blog] [Tweet] [Facebook]

Here Comes the Sun is looking for a Beatles act or 60s tribute band to play only Beatles music at its annual Beatles-themed cancer survivors/awareness health fair called "Cancer Blows." They're in a bind as one of the groups they originally had booked had a scheduling conflict.

They need a band for the 12:00 to 2:00 pm slot on Sunday. This is a non-paying gig for a non-profit at a free event, but it is the grooviest health fair gig in the Chicago area this weekend.

If you are in or know of a Beatles tribute band that can help this worthy cause, please contact them ASAP as the event is this weekend. Visit www.herecomesthesunevent.org for more info.

Meet The Beetles

And if you're in the neighborhood, please join them! Among the performers will be the Harrison Street Ukulele Players, B4 and After, The Submorons and Meet the Beetles. It's all happening on Sunday, Sep 20th, between 12:00 and 8:00 pm at Jarvis Square in Chicago, which is the 1500 Block of Jarvis between Ashland and Greenview at the Jarvis Red Line "L" stop.
