Beatles Fest West 2009 takes place this weekend, just a stones throw from where The Beatles last played in concert (San Francisco, August, 1966). That historic concert will be recreated this weekend at Beatles Fest West.

Headliners for the Friday Night Show will be "The Fab Four," a tribute band based in California and rated as the best Beatles tribute show around, the San Francisco debut of The BeaTrips from Japan and The BeaFore from Germany, bringing the early years of the Beatles to life. Also appearing will be 17 year old Female Solo Singer Christina Trillo, performing select John Lennon Songs to open the show.

The Bay Area's "The Sun Kings" will headline Saturday Night Show with Drew Harrison paying a special tribute to John, and from Canada "All You Need Is Love" with the opening act "The BeaTrips" coming back for a second night.

Drew Harrison will treat fans to a Solo performance of John, Female Solo Singer Christina Trillo, The BeaFore and The Final Four, will be performing at the Saturday Afternoon Matinee Show. Plus, don't forget the free entry "Beatles AkustiK Sunday."

Celebrities appearing all weekend at Beatles Fest West 2009 include Shannon, The World's Greatest Beatles Artist, Jude Southerland Kessler, author of "Shoulda Been There," a novel on the life of John Winston Lennon, and Bruce Spizer, author of seven critically acclaimed books on the Beatles, including The Beatles' Story on Capitol Records, The Beatles on Apple Records, and The Beatles Are Coming! The Birth of Beatlemania in America.

It all happens this weekend at the Scottish Rite Center, 19th Ave, San Francisco. The Scottish Rite Center has a Fab! 750 seat theater for the 4 shows that are planned over the weekend. In addition there will be Beatles Market Place. The Location is easily accessible from San Francisco and the Bay Area.

A Lost Weekend Pass is available for $99.00, Day Tripper Passes will cost between $15 and $49.50. For more information, visit their website at
