Jude Southerland Kessler, author of the Lennon biographies Shoulda Been There and Shivering Inside, has released a new video series on YouTube about The Beatles. Jude and her husband recorded the videos in an interview format for high school and college students who are doing research papers on Fab Four.
"I get at least one request a week for an interview like this," says Jude, "but most of them want the answers on paper. Since I'm currently busy working on my third book, I don't have time to do that. I thought this would be a way to help the students without taking away from my writing."
The three part, 32 minute "class" on the history of The Beatles tells how they impacted music and fashion, how they changed the world today, why they broke up and what made The Beatles exceptional. The videos can be viewed online for free at www.youtube.com/user/rjkess.
Ms. Kessler has spent over 20 years and made seven trips to Liverpool to research her comprehensive and thorough biographies on the life of John Lennon. Shoulda Been There is the first installment of her nine book series and covers Lennon's life from 1940 to December 1961. Jude's second novel in the series, Shivering Inside continues Lennon story from December 1961 to April 1963. Her third book, She Loves You, is due for publication in October 2013.
