Warning: New Let It Be on Amazon just another old, bad copy

Thanks to a reader report, we see a new listing in Amazon for a Limited Collector's Edition Let It Be to be released on DVD on August 5, 2016, and available for pre-order now.

However! This does not appear to be an official release, and does not appear to be the restored, remastered new release from the Beatles and Apple we've been waiting for all these years.

It is described in the "Editorial Review" on its Amazon page as "Australia released, NTSC/Region 0 DVD" and listed in the "Product Details" as being released by "LA Entertainment," whoever that is.

It is unlikely this DVD will contain anything new, and is more than likely to contain the cropped, chopped and diced print that was copied from the 1981 laserdisc that many called "unwatchable" and has been re-distributed on VHS and DVD many times since.

We still have hope that the official, restored Let It Be film will be released by Apple some day, but we're not holding our breath. And this isn't it.
