Yesterday we reported that Ringo Starr will be joining Paul McCartney at the historic benefit concert to be held at Radio City Music Hall on April 4, 2009.
This morning we're hearing that may not be true. Another source, who says they work with David Lynch, organizer of the event, says it is untrue that Ringo is scheduled to appear at the event, according to the Lynch Foundation's director.

While it's possible that this story has been gossip and rumor all along, totally unfounded in any fact or reality, it sounds to us more like they're still dotting the i's and crossing the t's on Ringo's appearance, and somebody announced it before they were supposed to, so now denials must be issued until it can be officially made public.
Stay tuned to the Beatles News Blog for the official word on this story as soon as it is released!
