Paul McCartney Opens 2019 Freshen Up Tour in Chile

Paul McCartney resumed his "Freshen Up" tour in Santiago, Chile on March 20 with a 39-song career-spanning set at National Stadium that included several songs from his well-received 2018 album, Egypt Station. The tour continues this month with four other South American shows. Sir Paul had performed 18 dates on the tour in 2018.

Paul McCartney's expanded Egypt Station includes three new songs

Paul McCartney has confirmed the release of an Egypt Station Traveller's Edition, coming May 10 via Capitol Records. The box set will include exclusive, previously unreleased songs and other rarities. The limited deluxe edition will be a one-time-only pressing of just 3000, and will come in a vintage style suitcase.

Paul McCartney shares video for Who Cares featuring Emma Stone

Paul McCartney has shared a video to accompany Who Cares, from Egypt Station, which has an anti-bullying sentiment. The short film features Oscar-winner Emma Stone. McCartney said, "My hope is that...if there are kids being bullied, they might just think it's the kind of thing you can just stand up to and laugh off and get through."

Paul McCartney's Egypt Station explores styles and stories

Paul McCartney added another hit album to his repertoir this September with "Egypt Station." It reaches across genres, even across time, to produce a stylistically and narratively diverse, yet still coherent and understandable "train," as McCartney designed the album, stopping at "stations" (each song) as the album advances.

Paul McCartney's team talks about Egypt Station's marketing strategy

With the release of studio album Egypt Station via Capitol Records on Sept. 7, Paul McCartney reached his first number one debut in over 36 years. Marketing of the album included appearing on Carpool Karaoke on The Late Late Show with James Corden and a live, surprise concert in Grand Central Station in New York City.

The video for Paul McCartney's recent single "Come On to Me", featuring a department store security guard who enthusiastically sings and dances his way through the tune, has been followed by two similar videos, featuring two different people, a young Syrian working in a food truck, and a cleaning woman in a high-rise office building.

New Video: Security guard dancing to Paul McCartney's Come On To Me

Paul McCartney has unveiled a new music video for his track "Come On To Me" from the new album, Egypt Station. The video, directed by TG Herrington, follows security guard Fred "Little Freddie" Maxwell as he hijacks the in-store sound system. Freddie's energy is contagious and the video has gone viral on the internet.
