Paul McCartney reveals new Egypt Station album

On the same day that Paul McCartney released a double A-sided single, he revealed further details of his upcoming studio album, Egypt Station. Sharing a title with one of his own paintings, Egypt Station is the first full album of all-new McCartney music since 2013's New. The new album will be available on September 7.

Listen: Paul McCartney's new double A-side single

Following yesterday's reveal of some of the details of his upcoming album, today, Paul McCartney released a double A-sided single, "I Don't Know" and the instantly catchy "Come On To Me." The tracks are from his upcoming album, Egypt Station, to be released on Sept. 7 via Capitol Records, available now for pre-order in the U.S. and the U.K.

Paul McCartney releasing double A-side single

At 12 Noon Eastern today, Paul McCartney finally, formally revealed some of the details of his upcoming album. On his various social platforms, it said, "Paul McCartney is done keeping the world in suspense: "I Don't Know" and "Come On To Me" will be released tomorrow (June 20) as a double A-Side single."

Paul McCartney teases possible new project amid birthday celebrations

Sir Paul McCartney decided to give back to his fans on his birthday this year with a teaser for a possible new project via Instagram this afternoon. The short video shows a 2-D Egyptian pyramid surrounded by palm trees with the scribbled text "Egypt Station". It's the latest of similar photos that McCartney has posted within the last day.

Video: Paul McCartney debuts new song at Liverpool pub

On Saturday, Paul McCartney's visit to in his hometown of Liverpool culminated with a performance for a select few at the Philharmonic Pub on Hope Street. Amidst the set's list of Beatles tunes, Paul premiered an upbeat, new song without revealing its title. He's currently teasing a new album which will be released by Capitol Records.

Did Paul McCartney tease a Beatles' White Album?

2018 will be the 50th anniversary of the Beatles' White Album. On Saturday, Paul McCartney changed his Facebok profile photo and cover photo to all-white. None of the other Beatles or the Beatles page itself had followed suit. Nothing on McCartney's website either, although he did change his Twitter pic to the all-white image as well.
