Yellow Submarine now streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video

The Beatles' Yellow Submarine, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, is now available to stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video starting today in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, Spain, France and Italy to members of Prime for no additional cost. In addition, Prime members can now stream the Yellow Submarine soundtrack.

Restorer of Yellow Submarine talks about film's state of the art version

Starting today, fans in the U.S. will be treated to theater screenings of the best-looking version of Yellow Submarine they've ever seen. That's according to Paul Rutan Jr. who led the team that re-scanned the film to the 4k resolution used on the Blu-ray and DVD release in 2012, as well as the theatrical cut to be debuted this week.

50th anniversary Yellow Submarine to include on-screen lyrics

Independent distribution and marketing company Abramorama commemorates the 50th anniversary of The Beatles' 1968 classic animated feature film, Yellow Submarine, with a theatrical release in July. The film will have the bouncing ball-style lyrics at the bottom of the screen for the first time, allowing audiences to sing along.

Yellow Submarine behind-the-scene videos appear on YouTube

The Beatles official YouTube channel has uploaded two video teasers for the upcoming re-release of the feature length film Yellow Submarine. The film has been restored in 4K digital resolution, all done frame by frame, by hand, and the film's songs and score were remixed in 5.1 stereo surround sound at Abbey Road Studios.

Yellow Submarine returns to theaters this July

The Beatles are celebrating the theatrical return of Yellow Submarine to big screens this July with a number of events and new licensed items, including a Yellow Submarine video game based on classic Pac-Man! Fans can now play as John, Paul, George, or Ringo to traverse the maze and avoid the Blue Meanies, all to fun Beatles music.
