Beatles music scholar debuts new Flip Side Beatles book and brand
Full-time Beatles music scholar and author Aaron Krerowicz has just released his sixth book, Flip Side Beatles, in a departure from his typical style of publication. It features two of Krerowicz's musical analysis presentations in a unique book form, one on the first side, and the other on the "flip side".
"Beyond the gimmick, if you want to call it that, of the book design, Flip Side Beatles really is what I do," says Krerowicz. "While the majority of scholars focus on Beatles history, my focus is on scholarly examination of their music. In other words, what's on the 'flip side' of the studies."
Flip Side Beatles also led to a new direction for Krerowicz's marketing and tour plans.
"The cover was created by artist Joshua Oberst," Krerowicz continues, "And when I saw it, it dawned on me that this was the direction I really wanted to take my work and brand going forward. The idea of Flip Side Beatles will be carried out in my presentations, website, newsletter, materials and more."
