Jude Southerland Kessler releases Volume IV in the John Lennon Series

Jude Southerland Kessler, the world's foremost expert on the life of John Lennon and author of The John Lennon Series, an outlined nine-volume narrative history covering the story of the man who formed the Beatles, has just released her fourth installment, Should Have Known Better, which covers the year 1964.

Liverpool film maker and author to be featured at Beatles at the Ridge

2018 Beatles at the Ridge Featured Artist Dave Bedford is perhaps best known for his incredible books on The Beatles. In fact, he will be releasing his latest volume, "Finding the Fourth Beatle," at a free-to-the-public Book Launch Party at Beatles at the Ridge. Also, his film "Looking for Lennon" will be shown at the festival.

New documentary covers the genesis of music in Liverpool

Bill Harry tells us about a new documentary about the music of Liverpool that is coming out soon. "The City That Rocked The World" will be a film for theatres, a television special, a DVD with lots of extras as there has been over 100 hours of filming, with 89 interviews and lots of live performances by various Mersey artists.

Since the announcement that there would be no MerseyBeat Stage at this year's Mathew Street Festival there has been worldwide uproar from fans.
