She Loves You research team sends book to press

She Loves You, the long-awaited 3rd volume in The John Lennon Series has just gone to press for its February 7, 2014 release. The expanded biography of John Lennon covers 1963-mid 1964, an era that saw The Beatles experience four tours of the UK, a stint in Sweden, a stay in France, and the historic first visit to America.

Author hosts John Lennon birthday party for new book

Jude Southerland Kessler, author of Shoulda Been There, will host a birthday party for John Lennon with the release of her new book, Shivering Inside, on Saturday, 16 October, 2010 at the Doylestown Book Store in Doylestown, Pennsylvania from 7-9 p.m. Guests will include EMI/Abbey Road recording engineer Richard Langham.

Beatles authors Come Together in Philadelphia

On Sunday, Beatles author Larry Kane met up with fellow Beatles expert Jude Southerland Kessler to discuss both of their upcoming book releases. Mr. Kane is the author of "Ticket to Ride" and "Lennon Revealed". Ms. Kessler is the author the Lennon biography "Shoulda Been There" and her soon to be released "Shivering Inside."

Lennon author announces 9-Book series

Jude Southerland Kessler, author of the biography of the life of John Lennon, Shoulda Been There, announced on Sunday at the Fest for Beatles Fans that her highly-documented Lennon series will encompass 9 books on the musician/artist/peace activist's life. Kessler's first book was researched for 20 years with 7 trips to Liverpool.

New BBC Beatles documentaries kick off Beatles Week

"(The Rise and Fall of) Beatlemania" is a new 50 minute documentary on BBC2 TV which features new interviews with Beatles insiders such as Tony Barrow, Tony Bramwell, Larry Kane and many others. "The Beatles on Record" and is a new 59 minute documentary narrated entirely by just John, Paul, George, Ringo and Sir George Martin.

Lost archive of Beatles photos featured in new book

On Aug. 21, 1965, 17-year-old Bill Carlson grabbed his Hasselbiad and Nikon cameras and headed out to the Metropolitan Stadium in Bloomington, Minn., gaining access to not only the concert, but also the Fab Four's arrival at the airport, and the afternoon press conference at WDGY radio. A collection of photos from that day are now available for the first time in a new book.
