Beatles symposium to host new Beatles author

Beatles at the Ridge is proud to welcome author Patricia Gallo-Stenman to their 2019 Symposium line-up. Stenman was selected as a teen reporter on the Fab Four during the 1960s in her local Philadelphia area, and in her 25-year career as a journalist, has written about The Beatles for Discover and The Sunday Bulletin Magazine.

New website celebrates the legacy of Victor Spinetti

On Sunday, June 18, it will be five years since the passing of beloved character actor and Beatles fans' favorite Victor Spinetti. Today it was announced that a new website has been created which is dedicated to preserving the memory, and celebrating the legacy, of Mr. Spinetti, who was in the first three Beatles movies.

Imagine the Beatles Tribute remembers Victor Spinetti

Neil Burg of Imagine The Beatles Tribute remembers fondly the night they had the pleasure of performing in front of the late Victor Spinetti back in 1995 in Northridge, LA at the Volare Restaurant. Neil says Victor told them that they made him cry when he heard the songs that they performed, especially the songs from Hard Days Night.

I won an award... It's on the wall in my office

The wonderful British character actor Victor Spinetti passed away on Monday at the age of 82. Over the years, I got the chance to spend many hours one on one with Victor. He was the warmest, kindest, most wonderful soul I ever met on this planet. The time I got to spend with him was a wonderful gift which I will never forget.

Special 20th Anniversay London Beatles Day this Sunday

Victor Spinetti live in New York City next week

Victor Spinetti will be appearing in his one-man show, Victor Spinetti: A Very Private Diary, at the The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, next week, January 5 and 8, at 6 pm, and January 10 at 3 pm. The show is free to the public.

New DVD tells the untold story of Magical Mystery Tour

A new DVD entitled "The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour Memories," is now available in the UK, and will be released in the US on September 29. It features the memories of celebrities, eye-witness accounts of fans who were there and previously unseen exciting 8mm color home movie footage taken at the time.

Our dear friend Victor Spinetti, who was born in Wales on September 2, 1933, is 75 years young today! Victor was in every Beatles movie (except for Let It Be). He was the TV director in A Hard Day's Night, Professor Foot in Help! and the Army Sergeant in Magical Mystery Tour.

New DVD features celebrity memories and unseen Beatles footage

In August, Wienerworld, a company in the UK that specialises in CDs and DVDs that promote musical artists, will release a DVD entitled "The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour Memories," an upbeat rockumentary featuring the vivid memories of those who witnessed the making of Magical Mystery Tour in 1967.
